Jennifer Edge

Born and raised in Chattanooga, TN, Jennifer has been chasing rainbows and doodling for as long as she can remember. Her lifelong dream of becoming an artist who gets to create every day became a reality when she discovered the world of tattooing.

Jennifer began her tattoo journey in late 2009 as an apprentice. After gaining experience in a couple of shops and honing her craft, she took a leap of faith and opened Main Line Tattoo in 2013. Located in the heart of Chattanooga, her shop is now a hub for creativity, collaboration, and community.

Known for her vibrant watercolor tattoos and evolving black-and-gray sketchy illustration style, Jennifer loves working on a wide range of ideas. From your favorite fandom to flowers she loves every project sent her way.

Outside the studio, Jennifer’s family includes her beloved wife, Jessica and their pup, Birdie. She’s always ready to share tales (and plenty of photos) of Birdie’s latest adventures, like the time she chewed through Jessica’s skates.

A lover of fantasy and storytelling, Jennifer draws inspiration from a lifelong passion for books and film. From Stephen King to Sarah J. Maas, Star Wars to Superman, she immerses herself in magical worlds and heroic tales that fuel her creativity.

In addition to tattooing, Jennifer’s love of literature inspired her to launch a truly unique event in 2018: Literary Ink, the first-ever book-themed tattoo convention. Held in Chattanooga, this one-of-a-kind gathering brings together tattoo artists, vendors, and book enthusiasts from around the globe. Literary Ink continues to grow, providing a magical space where book lovers can bring their favorite stories to life through tattoos.

When she’s not tattooing or organizing events, Jennifer finds inspiration in everyday life and friends. She also deeply values the camaraderie of the talented team at Main Line Tattoo, whom she describes as the most talented artists with the biggest hearts.

For Jennifer, tattooing is more than just art—it’s a way to connect with people, tell stories, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Jennifer’s Work

book status: CLOSED

We work Jennifer’s schedule on an “open” and “closed” book process. This is to keep our scheduling fair for everyone and for Jennifer to not be booked out any further than 3 months in advance. When books are “closed” it means that Jennifer is not taking on any inquiries, appointments, or consultations because her schedule is booked to capacity.
Please see the schedule below for when books open.

For the months of May & June 2025.
